BurlingtonGreen invites community members to attend its Volunteer Appreciation Event and Annual General Meeting on the evening of Thursday, June 11, at Centennial Hall, Burlington Central Library.

The evening will celebrate the contributions of volunteers who have helped advance local environmental action over the past year. Attendees will learn about BurlingtonGreen’s recent accomplishments, connect with like-minded community members, explore rewarding volunteer opportunities, and help recognize the individuals whose dedication is making a positive difference locally.

“Volunteers play a vital role in helping BurlingtonGreen create a meaningful environmental impact in our community,” says Amy Schnurr, executive director of BurlingtonGreen. “We look forward to celebrating their contributions, sharing our collective accomplishments, and welcoming others who are interested in getting involved.”

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for informal networking and refreshments. The Annual General Meeting will take place from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., followed by celebrating volunteer impact from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature volunteer recognitions, community impact highlights, and information about opportunities for individuals, families, youth, businesses, schools, and community groups to take action locally.

Complimentary native seed packets and refreshments will be available.
