Burlington Public Library is pleased to announce the results of the annual Burlington Bookmarks Contest. After tallying over 3,000 online votes by community members, the 2026 winners are:
- Jenna L. (5 and under), inspired by Zootopia books/movie
- Theia V. (6–8 years old), inspired by Days with Frog and Toad by Arnold Lobel
- Dharani P. (9–12 years old), inspired by Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
- Julia A. (13–17 years old), inspired by Whale Done by Stuart Gibbs
- Gordon J. (18+), inspired by Citadels of the Lost by Tracy Hickman
This year’s contest received more than 500 entries, showcasing the creativity and artistic talent of participants across all age categories. From these, finalists were selected for public voting, with the winning designs reflecting a high level of imagination and skill.
The winning bookmarks are now available for pickup at all Burlington Public Library branches. Bookmarks are free and offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
