Enter Worlds of the Night’s dusky atmosphere and learn about what happens while we sleep. Visitors will be introduced to the phases of sleep, the biological clock, and the concept of night vision. Discover nocturnal animals from around the world. Come face-to-face with small rodents, insects, spiders, bats, and a scorpion too! Encounter the unexpected, such as aardvarks, bilbies, African jerboas, fennec foxes, and caracals. Learn about the adaptations made by living beings to survive in the worlds of the night. Travel to polar realms with their awe-inspiring northern lights, take a trip to the bottom of a grotto, discover the phenomenon of bioluminescence.
