Appleby Line between New and Fairview streets was noisy and bustling without any car traffic this past Sunday afternoon, with community members enjoying the music, food, booths featuring local businesses and organizations, bouncy castles, and pony rides of this year’s Appleby Line Street Festival.

The 2023 iteration saw over 7000 visitors, 120-plus booths, a new-this-year beer garden from Nickel Brook Brewing Co., and a display of beautiful vintage cars by the Burlington Lions Club Car Show.

The Burlington Teen Tour band was back again, putting on “a wonderful musical parade,” said Ward 5 Councillor Paul Sharman. Other talent on display included the Burlington Concert Band, dancing demonstrations, and more. Even the weather cooperated this year!
