Fall fun is back at Mountsberg this October with Mountsberg’s Halloween Skelebration, a unique evening event that offers family-friendly experiences and plenty of haunted adventures, along with opportunities to learn about the environment and wildlife. Tickets are on sale now, and guests can prebook for weekend visits from October 2 to October 31, 2026, choosing their preferred time slots between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. 

Families will enjoy exploring the illuminated Night Walk trail and Haunted Barn, featuring themed displays with light and sound effects; visiting a family-friendly Fortune Teller to discover their Halloween future; joining a new Eco Guardian scavenger hunt that promises sweet treats; meeting and learning about some of Mountsberg’s resident raptors, farm animals and native snakes; gathering around cozy bonfires and so much more! Guests may enhance their visit with delicious hot meals that can be added directly to their bookings, as well as wagon rides which can be purchased at the gift shop during their visit.

Each year, our staff look forward to bringing the magic of Halloween to life at Mountsberg through new ideas, hand-crafted displays and creative ways to connect families with nature. We invite families to come out for a night of festive fall fun and exploration at Skelebration. For returning guests and first-time visitors alike, this year’s event offers new ways to celebrate Halloween at Mountsberg.

This seasonal event is suitable for children of all ages; there are no jump-scares at Skelebration. Parents and children are encouraged to come in costume and share the festive Halloween fun.

  • Skelebration runs on weekend evenings (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) from October 2 to October 31, 2026 (Exceptions: Sunday, October 4 and Sunday, October 11, 2026)
  • The Night Walk trail (~1 km) features an Invasive Zone, Graveyard of the Undead, Ghostly Pirate Ship, Giant Pumpkin, and more!
  • The Haunted Barn treats visitors to additional spectacular Halloween displays in an indoor environment
  • Kids can become Junior Eco Guardians in a new scavenger hunt where they’ll search for guardian emblems to help restore the Eco Guardians’ powers to save Mountsberg’s habitats
  • Guests can visit the Raptor Centre, Animal Barn and Snake Room during the event to meet and learn about the birds of prey, farm animals and native snakes that call Mountsberg home
  • There are no jump-scares at Skelebration; this event is designed to bring the joy of Halloween to families with children of all ages
