August 19, 2026 — Halton District School Board

The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is proud to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of 16 graduating students who have been named recipients of the 2026 Governor General’s Academic Medal.

Presented annually, the Governor General’s Academic Bronze Medal honours a graduating student at each secondary school who achieves the highest academic standing in their graduating class. The award recognizes students whose dedication, perseverance and commitment to learning have resulted in exceptional academic achievement.

The HDSB extends its congratulations to this year’s recipients and celebrates the hard work and accomplishments that have marked their secondary school journeys.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate this year’s Governor General’s Academic Medal recipients and the remarkable academic achievements these HDSB students have demonstrated. Reaching the highest academic standing in a graduating class takes determination and a sustained commitment to learning. These students have set an inspiring example for their peers, and we look forward to seeing how they carry their knowledge and aspirations into their next chapters.
