Sept. 9, 2025 — Conservation Halton
Conservation Halton’s Spooktacular Halloween evening event returns for its fifth year of family-friendly thrills at Mountsberg Conservation Area, running weekends from October 3 to October 26, 2025.
This annual event transforms Mountsberg Conservation Area into a glowing, magical landscape filled with outdoor adventure, friendly frights, and unforgettable fall fun.
“Spooktacular is designed to bring the joy of Halloween to guests of all ages, without the jump scares”, says Brenna Bartley, Manager of Education and Outreach at Conservation Halton. “Families can dress up for a night of spooky adventure mixed with educational experiences and fun encounters with the Mountsberg’s resident wildlife and farm animals.”
New to Spooktacular this year are a DinoRaptors scavenger hunt to earn a Junior Paleontologist badge and tasty treats, DinoRaptor fossil excavation, and a visit to a fortune teller. Other returning Spooktacular favourite activities include the haunted barn, wagon rides, guest appearances from Mountsberg’s resident snakes and raptors, an illuminated night walk trail featuring an Invasive Zone, Graveyard of the Undead, Ghostly Pirate Ship, Giant Pumpkin, and more!
