By Lee-Ann Meyer, volunteer at Neveah Cat Rescue

Myrtle, aged 5 years (with tuxedo colouring), and Hazel (the tabby of the pair), aged 1.5 years, were rescued from a hoarding situation where there were 60 cats living inside in one apartment.

Cats from hoarding situations are often not used to people or touch and are more comfortable around other friendly cats, but Myrtle and Hazel are enjoying scratches from the volunteers. They also love their yummy wet food, Temptation treats, and watching cat videos.

These sweet girls need a patient home where they will be loved and given all the time they need to flourish into confident cats.

They are so sweet and would do well in a home with another cat and can also cohabit with a cat-friendly dog.

They are both spayed, microchipped, and are up to date on their vaccines.

They are waiting at the PetSmart store on Appleby Line North Burlington; adoption application forms can be found online at www.ncwl.weebly.com.
