In an extraordinary display of community spirit and determination, Burlington Christian Academy (BCA) prepares to launch its largest annual online silent auction ever. Hosted by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the fundraising goal of $25,000 is earmarked for a vital project that holds promise for both current and future students — the creation of an innovative outdoor learning area.

The online auction, organized by the dedicated PTA, features an exciting array of items and experiences up for grabs. From vacation and staycation experiences that promise unforgettable memories, to exclusive signed sports jerseys for the collectors, the auction caters to a wide range of interests and desires. Then there are the themed class baskets, gourmet food and beverage assortments, toys, family game night bundles, and much more that add to the vibrant selection.

Everyone is invited to bid on the items and experiences — the Online Silent Auction is open for bidding from 4 p.m. on Friday, May 3 until Sunday, May 5 at 9 p.m. Items can be picked up the following week at the school located at 521 North Service Road, Burlington.

“This fundraiser is not just about raising money, but about creating an enriching environment for our students to learn and grow,” stated Rob Lofthouse, principal of Burlington Christian Academy. The sentiment was echoed by the enthusiasm and participation levels leading up to the event that will contribute to the school’s efforts to provide enhanced learning experiences.

Lauren, parent council president, also shared, “The dedication of our local businesses and sponsors, combined with the generosity of our families, has been truly inspiring. Together, we have shown what can be achieved when a school community shares a goal in the spirit of learning!”

A heartfelt applause goes to everyone who helped source hundreds of items and contributions that are instrumental in the anticipated success of the fundraiser goal. Across local businesses, services, sponsors, school families, alumni, and donors; the unwavering support not only showed the strength of our community spirit but also the shared commitment to fostering educational advancements at BCA. Burlington Christian Academy extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who bids on the auction. This event has once again showcased the powerful impact of community collaboration, setting a bright course for the leaders of tomorrow nurtured at BCA today.
