On March 4, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., the Burlington Performing Arts Centre’s Community Studio Theatre will host a free performance of Metamorphosis.

The Metamorphosis concert is a fascinating exploration of how music is composed and developed.

Conceived by Maestro Charles Cozens, conductor and artistic director of the Burlington New Millenium Orchestra, this is a rare opportunity to hear him as a pianist with his trio consisting of bassist Alberto Munarriz and percussionist Richard Moore.

In addition, there will be two guest artists, oboist Colin Maier and vocalist Beverly Gail Ritchie.

Guest artist Beverly Gail Ritchie will perform on March 4.

This performance is made possible through a grant from the Burlington Arts and Culture Fund.

Burlington New Millennium Orchestra
The Burlington New Millennium Orchestra (BNMO) is a world-class Canadian concert orchestra and recording music ensemble comprised of highly respected professional musicians and singers.

The BNMO repertoire covers a broad spectrum of styles and tastes, all under the artistic direction of Conductor Maestro Charles T. Cozens.

Inspired by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Boston Pops and the sounds of the Big Band era, we can adapt the size of our orchestra from a small ensemble to a full symphony orchestra.

Soprano vocalist Beverly Gail has been singing all her life. Her love of music and sharing it with others led her to pursue an honours vocal music degree from Wilfrid Laurier University (2003). Her soprano voice and clear tone make her wonderfully suited to sing warm ballads, jazzy love songs and comedic show tunes.
