By Burlington Humane Society

Hi there! My name is Angus, and boy, have I had a rough go!

Luckily, thanks to all the love, attention and help from my human friends, I am feeling better than ever! I can’t wait to find my furever family and thrive in a home where I can let my big personality shine.

The humans think I spent most of my 6(ish?) years on the streets, but don’t be fooled; I am an indoor kitty through and through. I spend most of my days lounging the lobby of the Burlington Humane Society (BHS), soaking up all the attention I can.

Every day I am becoming more and more curious about my surroundings and am learning that the world is not as big and scary as I thought it was.

A calm, quiet home sounds absolutely perfect to me! I love being petted and will even roll over for a little belly scratch. I LOVE attention from humans and get along well with other cats. I am FIV+, but I am still happy as can be with lots of life ahead of me. You can talk to an adoption counsellor to know more about my status.

I can’t wait to meet my new family, and see what this whole “home” thing is all about!

Are you the one he’s waiting for? Photo courtesy of BHS.

Angus is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society. Local-news.ca has partnered with the Burlington Humane Society to give you stories of some of the pets they have available for adoption. If you fall in love and want to adopt one of the pets featured, go to the Adopt a Cat or Kitten or the Adopt a Dog or Puppy page on their website for more information on how to proceed.
