All Esther wants for Christmas is a foster home!

Meet Esther, the sweet and silly bulldog mix. Esther is an absolute sweetheart with a playful and goofy personality that’s bound to steal your heart. Her luscious chocolate-coloured fur is as sweet as her temperament, and she’s ready to find her forever home.

Esther is a true cuddle bug and craves human affection. She adores head and body scratches, and she’s quick to lean into you for snuggles. She’ll be your loyal and loving companion, whether it’s lazy days on the couch or an energetic game of fetch.

She is a strong girl and is currently in the process of learning leash manners. While she may pull on the leash initially due to her excitement, she’s making great progress and will thrive with a patient and loving owner who can help her continue to refine her leash skills.

This lovebug does have a few special considerations to keep in mind. She’s reactive to other dogs, so she would do best as the only pet in the household. This will allow her to thrive in an environment where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves.

Additionally, Esther is currently in heat, but don’t worry: she’s on a “foster to adopt” status until she can be spayed and have her teeth cleaned in the next six to eight weeks. Once these procedures are completed, she’ll be ready to officially become a member of your family and bring even more happiness to your home.

If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who will shower you with affection and keep you entertained with her silliness, Esther is the one for you. One look from those puppy-dog eyes and you’ll be hooked!

Be sure to submit your application to foster-to-adopt this sweet girl today!

Esther is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society. Local-news.ca has partnered with the Burlington Humane Society to give you stories of some of the pets they have available for adoption. If you fall in love and want to adopt one of the pets featured, go to the Adopt a Cat or Kitten or the Adopt a Dog or Puppy page on their website for more information on how to proceed.
