The Burlington Santa Claus Parade was welcomed back to the streets after a pandemic-mandated absence by a large, enthusiastic audience and fine, clear weather.

Burlington Transit’s Buster the dog was there alongside a holiday-themed bus, and the OPP decorated their vehicles for the occasion. The Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Burlington Cougars waved to the crowds, wearing their jerseys and festive accessories. Other participants marching, riding, or driving in the parade included Thrive Group, Chartwell Retirement Residence, Bunzl Canada, and the Leggat Auto Group.

The perennial favourite Burlington Teen Tour Band spread holiday cheer alongside much-loved costumed characters like Elsa and Olaf from Frozen. Santa and Mrs. Claus provided the traditional closing float to the procession, bringing the holiday spirit to a crescendo for the thousands along the parade route.
