Aldershot School students stood silent today in remembrance of the lives of deceased military personnel at the Woodland Cemetery.

The annual “No Stone Left Alone” ceremony saw each student place a poppy on a grave and say aloud the name of the soldier, sailor or airman.

The event also included sea, air, and army cadets as well as local military leaders and officers.

For the first time, the Aldershot Lions Club participated in the ceremony by laying a wreath.

The event is held annually on the Thursday before Remembrance Day.
