On June 26, the Ontario Liberal Party announced that Mariam Manaa was officially nominated as Burlington’s Liberal candidate for the next provincial election (to be held on or before June 2, 2022).
Manaa worked for Karina Gould, MP, in her constituency office and recently completed a term on the board of the Halton Islamic Association (Halton Mosque). https://local-news.ca announced Manaa’s candidacy on our Facebook page on May 1.
