Emily Brown has been elected as the Conservative Party’s candidate for the riding of Burlington in the upcoming federal election.

Emily is a professor at Sheridan College’s Pilon School of Business and has a B.A. in Linguistics, Bachelor and Master’s degrees in education, and a diploma in chemical engineering. She was formerly a math and science teacher and an education researcher.

She and her husband live in Burlington and have two grown sons.

Karina Gould, Liberal, has been Burlington’s Member of Parliament (MP) since 2015. Pam Damoff, Liberal, has been Oakville North-Burlington’s MP since 2015. Adam van Koeverden, Liberal, has been Milton’s MP since 2019 (the Milton riding includes part of north Burlington). All three current MPs will be candidates in the upcoming federal election.
