The Burlington Chamber of Commerce announced an online information session about what businesses need to know regarding provincial and federal third-party election rules. The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is presenting this session free of charge about the Canada Elections Act and the Ontario Election Finances Act. Participants will learn what is meant by partisan activities, election surveys, election advertising, and political advertising.
The webinar will also provide updates about the implementation of Bill 254, Protecting Elections Act, 2021, which recently came into force. Kyle Morrow, a lawyer at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, will be speaking.
