Community Development Halton will be speaking on Tuesday, June 22, in the first of a series of joint discussions on social issues. Speakers from the Social Planning and Research Council of Hamilton, Halton Multicultural Council, Hamilton Community Legal Clinic and Acorn Canada will participate in this sold-out event. Presented by the United Way of Halton and Hamilton, the discussion will focus on what is being done at all levels of government to address “skyrocketing housing prices, increasing renovictions and other illegal landlord practices and decreasing tenant protection.”
