Councillor Shawna Stolte sent a notice to area residents that a virtual community meeting is being held on Thursday, June 24 from 7 to 8 p.m. about upgrades to Tuck Park. Area residents enjoy the large park on Spruce Avenue around and neighbouring John T. Tuck Public School.
The playground structure at the school will be replaced in summer 2022 and the Spruce Avenue bridge will be replaced, with work beginning in winter 2024. The green space east and west of Tuck Creek are park of the Tuck Park area map provided with the notice. Tuck Creek work has already been completed according to the notice.
The community meeting will focus on the work projects and gather input on the timing and design of the plans for Tuck Park.
