June 20, 2024 — Conservation Halton

Conservation Halton is excited to announce the opening of Kelso Cove Waterpark on June 29, 2024, at Kelso Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario. Online booking is now open for visitors to book a time to cool off this Canada Day long weekend at the park’s new giant floating waterpark.

“At our parks, we’re always looking for new opportunities to get people active outdoors and Kelso Cove Waterpark promises to do just that,” said Craig Machan, Director, Parks and Operations at Conservation Halton. “The 50′ x 170′ floating waterpark will allow over 100 guests to play on the attraction at a time. It is going to be the place to be with family and friends on hot summer days!”

Kelso Cove Waterpark has over 26 fun features and obstacles to climb, bounce, jump, and slide on. The floating island is fully supervised by lifeguards with a National Lifeguard Certification. Swimmers ages 5 and older who meet the minimum height requirement of 48” tall can play on the waterpark after completing a 40-foot swim test wearing a Kelso Cove lifejacket and listening to the safety briefing. Lifejackets and appropriate swimwear need to be worn and guests must be barefoot while they navigate their way through the waterpark.

The waterpark will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with timeslots throughout the day to book, the last being at 5:00 pm. To avoid disappointment, it is recommended to prebook your visit online in advance.

This new attraction is one of many exciting things to do at Kelso Conservation Area! In addition to Kelso Cove Waterpark, visitors can plan a full day of fun at the park including boat rentals, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, picnicking, a challenge course (including aerial ropes, climbing tower, and archery), and more!
