Earlier this month, The Human Race – Around the Bay premiered at the Art Gallery of Burlington; there was so much interest in this documentary, that the date had to be shifted to accommodate a larger crowd.
The film and the premiere were a joint effort between broadcaster Ted Michaels, the United Way Halton and Hamilton, and the Halton branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Michaels notes that feedback on the film has had one theme: that the conversation around mental health must continue.
