Vicwest Building Products specializes in engineering and manufacturing metal roofing and wall panels, and with McIntosh on the team, the company is working to become more sustainable and eco-conscious. McIntosh is also committed to helping reduce carbon emissions and waste products, as well as participating in projects such as harvesting rainwater and investing in renewable energy.

The BurlingtonGreen Youth Network is a volunteer organization for youth between the ages of 14–24 who are interested and passionate about making a positive difference in the environment. The BurlingtonGreen Youth Network brings together like-minded youth to educate themselves and others on local and global eco-issues, provides opportunities to help the planet, and more. The group meets every other week and is held in person as well as virtually. Some of the group’s activities include listening to guest speakers, initiatives to connect with nature, learning about climate change, hands-on cleaning events, special events, and webinars.
