We are happy to share the news that Dangerous Liaisons is being presented by the Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) in support of BPAC, and local downtown restaurants Paradiso and Pepperwoods.
The show is a virtual reading that will run about 75 minutes and includes Mayor Meed Ward, Councillor Kearns, and Councillor Nisan in its cast. Great idea! Leslie Gray and Christopher Gray, from KooGle Theatre, join the cast as the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont. Bev Mattson, from Lights Up Theatre, plays Madame de Rosemonde. Arielle Nielsen, from Burlington Student Theatre, plays Cécile Volanges, a young girl fresh out of the convent. Richard Ouzounian directs.
This reading is pre-recorded and will be digitally streamed on Friday, June 11, and Saturday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per household (members and volunteers pay $15/household) and are available through https://burlingtonpac.ca/events/dangerous-liaisons/ or by calling the box office at 905-681-6000. One ticket is required for each device where the event will be streamed.
Front-line healthcare workers in Burlington can contact the BPAC box office by email to michele.ristov@burlington.ca to receive complimentary tickets. Good news!
