The City of Burlington is inviting residents to its sixth annual Food for Feedback event on Saturday, Sept. 12, from noon to 3 p.m. at Central Park (2299 New St.).
This popular community event gives residents the opportunity to provide their feedback on city projects, programs and initiatives, and then enjoy a free meal (while supplies last). It’s a chance to connect with neighbours and city staff, and to help shape the future of Burlington in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
City staff will be on site to answer questions, listen to ideas and gather valuable input from the community.
The free drop-in event features 20 project booths and four food trucks. Families can also visit the Kidz Zone, a dedicated space where children can enjoy activities while parents and caregivers learn about city initiatives and provide feedback.

Feedback collected during the event helps inform city decision-making and supports the ongoing improvement of programs, services and initiatives that matter to Burlington residents.
Date and location
Residents are welcome to attend Food for Feedback on Saturday, Sept. 12, between noon and 3 p.m. at Central Park, 2299 New St. If it rains, the event will move to the Burlington Seniors’ Centre.
This year, the city will be seeking feedback and sharing information on topics including:
- Burlington Transit
- 2026 municipal election
- Storm water management
- 2027 budget
- Recreation
- Transportation
- Official Plan, and more!
