We are pleased to introduce our adoptable pet of the week: Stormy!
Stormy is a beautiful three-year-old boy with the softest velvet fur and the kindest eyes. When he first arrived at the shelter, the busy environment was overwhelming for him. He preferred to watch from a quiet corner, only accepting gentle head pets and chin scratches from those he trusted.
But everything began to change when Stormy moved into a loving foster home. With patience, calm, and care, he’s started to find his confidence. Each day, he grows a little braver — exploring new spaces, seeking affection, and learning that people can be safe and kind.
Stormy is the kind of cat who thrives with a gentle companion. He would do best in a home with another calm, confident cat who can help show him the ropes and offer quiet reassurance.
He’ll need time to settle in and build trust at his own pace, but once he does, you’ll see the sweet, affectionate companion waiting just beneath the surface.
Stormy is currently in a foster home, so visits are by appointment only. If you have a calm home and an open heart, Stormy just might be the perfect match for you.
