Canadian fashion designer Joseph Tassoni is once again turning heads and raising expectations as he prepares to debut his Spring/Summer Fall/Winter 2026 (SS/FW 2026) collection on September 19, 2025, at Arcadia Earth in Toronto. Known for his bold, community-rooted approach and impeccable attention to detail, Tassoni’s upcoming show promises to be more than just a runway presentation — it’s set to be an immersive, multi-sensory experience that brings together fashion, technology, and sustainability in a groundbreaking way.
Tassoni, based in Burlington, is no stranger to innovation. From integrating mental health advocacy into his work to uplifting local talent, his fashion shows are known to deliver more than beautiful garments. Blending all four seasons into a single cohesive show, Tassoni offers a rare multi-seasonal perspective, challenging the traditional fashion calendar. And this year, he’s pushing the envelope even further with “The Intersection of Style and Tech,” a curated, future-forward show that explores the influence of artificial intelligence, climate-conscious design, and the evolution of personal style.
“The inspiration came from a growing realization that innovation doesn’t happen in isolation,” Tassoni said. “I kept seeing incredible conversations happening separately: creators pushing boundaries in tech, founders reshaping how we experience the world, and leaders quietly fueling change behind the scenes. The idea sparked when I thought, what if we could bring these voices together — in my world of fashion? Not as a pitch, but as a true exchange of ideas. Something collaborative, curious, and unapologetically future-facing.”
The venue itself, Arcadia Earth, echoes that sentiment. A multisensory exhibit built to spark environmental action through art and technology, it sets the stage for a one-of-a-kind fashion journey. Guests will step into a world where the walls, ceiling, and floor become a living canvas for Tassoni’s new collection. And while the venue is in Toronto, the heart of this show remains deeply tied to Burlington. From Nickel Brook Brewing Co. to local food vendors like Familia Fine Foods and The Sweetest Thing, Tassoni continues to spotlight the vibrancy of his brand’s hometown.
From the moment attendees arrive, they’ll be treated to a full red carpet welcome hosted by Oakville realtor Rina DiRisio. Celebrity photographer George Pimentel will be there to capture the red carpet glamour. Complimentary bites and drinks will be offered from local Burlington favourites, and the mood will be set by Evolved Entertainment’s disco-infused beats. It’s all designed to lead into a fashion moment that feels intimate, inspiring, and distinctly Canadian.
“This event is a reflection of both where we are and where we’re going,” Tassoni explained. “I’ve always believed that fashion has the power to unite people, and this event is about threading the future into the local community while expanding our reach. We welcomed new perspectives while grounding the conversation in something deeply Canadian, rooted in our values of mental health awareness, inclusivity, and collective care.”
At the core of the SS/FW 2026 collection is the relationship between climate, technology, and personal expression. Garments are designed with the shifting environment in mind: more breathable fabrics, adaptable layers, and functional yet stylish pieces meant to mirror how the world is heating up or cooling down. The ambitious 60-look collection reflects all four seasons and includes essentials in classic black and white, evolving into bursts of colour inspired by nature, movement, and emotion.
“I was really inspired by some of the AI-driven tools around pattern development and by early-stage bio-fabrication breakthroughs,” said Tassoni. “These are real, tangible tools that could shift how we design and produce. Not five years from now, but right now. For me, tech doesn’t replace creativity — it challenges it to evolve.
The versatility of the garments is another highlight. Tops that can be worn five different ways, pants that transform into multiple silhouettes, and reversible outerwear all exemplify a conscious and practical approach to fashion that meets real-world demands without compromising elegance. Each piece is designed to align with the wearer’s sense of self; it is fashion as a second skin that empowers confidence. Or as RuPaul famously puts it, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag” — a reminder that what we wear is a powerful extension of identity.
“I’m designing this show with Arcadia in mind — it’s not a backdrop, it’s part of the story,” Tassoni said. “Each installation becomes a stage for a different narrative, allowing the clothing to interact with light, sound, and space. It’s about creating emotional and visual depth, where the setting elevates the collection, and the collection responds to the environment around it.”
Tickets to the show include access to the full experience, featuring the red carpet entrance, curated culinary and beverage offerings, immersive art, and, of course, the fashion event itself. An exclusive after-party at Le Germain on Mercer begins at 9:30 p.m., offering guests a chance to unwind, connect, and celebrate the future of fashion in true Tassoni style.
Tassoni’s ambition reaches beyond the evening. “Canadian fashion needs amplification,” Tassoni said. “We have the talent, the craftsmanship, the ideas — but not always the infrastructure or spotlight. My goal is to create high-level, high-visibility experiences that showcase what we’re capable of, not just to Canadians, but to the global community. It’s time to stop playing it safe and start showing up boldly, and I’m committed to leading that shift, through design, through events, and by building platforms for others to rise with me.”
With limited tickets available and a clear message of boldness, purpose, and innovation, the Joseph Tassoni SS/FW 2026 fashion show is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Canadian fashion events of the year. As Tassoni himself puts it: “I want people to leave inspired — not just by the clothes, but by the message. I want them to feel excited about where fashion is heading, and proud of what’s happening right here in Canada. I hope they walk away thinking, ‘It’s time to invest in a Joseph Tassoni piece for my wardrobe.’”
