From Monday, June 2, to Sunday, June 15, Burlington residents have a special opportunity to share their thoughts and make a real difference by taking Burlington Public Library’s annual Customer Satisfaction Survey.
“Over the past few years, thousands of Burlington residents have shared thoughtful feedback that has helped us grow and improve our services and collections,” says BPL chief executive officer Lita Barrie. “When we hear directly from you, we can focus on what matters most to the people we’re here to serve.”
The online survey is quick and easy to complete, with just three short sections: Demographics, Library Services, and Strategic Plan Feedback. A paper copy of the survey is available on request at the Library’s seven locations across the city.
What’s new this year
This year, BPL is developing its 2026-2027 Strategic Plan, and public input will help guide the way. This brief, optional section of the survey offers residents the opportunity to provide feedback on the goals and priorities that will help shape the Library’s direction over the next two years.
There is also a second way for Burlington residents to make their voices count. The Canadian Urban Libraries Council (CULC) invites library users ages 18 and older to participate in a brief National Impact Survey, which aims to gain insight into how Canadians value public libraries nationwide.
We sincerely appreciate your time, interest, and openness. As our CEO Lita Barrie says, “Burlington Public Library thrives because of your involvement! Your feedback is invaluable in helping us make our library the best it can be for everyone in our community. We look forward to hearing from you in the coming weeks.”
