Burlington Humane Society is pleased to introduce Marge, this week’s adoptable pet of the week.
Marge is a reserved and cautious cat in search of a quiet home where she can feel secure. She needs someone who understands that building trust takes time. Though she might start off timid, Marge has her own way of showing appreciation. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll follow you to the kitchen for wet food, meowing to let you know she’s around.
Marge loves treats and catnip, and she’s especially fond of scratching posts. She also has fun with spring toys and a toy tower with balls to bat around. She also enjoys head-pets and will seek out sunny spots to bask in.
If you’re patient and willing to give her the space she needs, Marge could become a loyal and affectionate companion. If you think you’re the right match for Marge, come meet her and see if you can offer her the calm, loving home she’s looking for.
