Hi, I’m Honey!
I had a really rough start to life. I was sadly abandoned in an apartment and it made it very hard for me to trust humans after my difficult ordeal but I’m doing well now. So please take the time to read about me below.
I’m only 3 years old, spayed, microchipped, and I am up to date on my vaccines. I’ve been in a foster home waiting for my forever home for 129 days.
During that time, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned what it’s like to be spoken to kindly: my foster mom comes in to greet me each morning, and when she turns out the light at bedtime, she tells me she loves me and that I’m a good girl.
I’m learning that hands can be gentle, and it feels really nice to be brushed. I’m also jumping up to get those head bumps now. I also sometimes forget myself and flop over for some tummy rubs until I get a bit scared and change my mind.
I have this super comfy bed that makes me feel safe and secure, I purr a lot when I get in it and make a million biscuits. My foster mom says I can bring it with me to my new home so I’m pretty excited about that!
My favourite days are when she works from home and we hang out together in her office all day, just us. It’s nice and quiet and we watch birds together and then I nap while she talks and talks on the phone.
I’m really excited to find a home with my own family to keep forever. I think with time I’ll feel more comfortable to really show people that I’m a nice cat. It’s just hard for me at first to feel safe enough to be myself so I can be a little sassy. I’m really a good girl. My foster mom keeps telling me all the time, so it must be true.
Please reach out to the rescue if you want to know more about me, or even meet me. I’ll be here waiting in my comfy bed.
