Alexander is a gentle 15-year-old medium-haired boy who arrived at the shelter as a stray but has quickly shown just how loving and sweet he is. He enjoys being near people, soaking up quiet affection, and sharing calm moments together.

He does well with other cats and would feel most at home in a peaceful, adult-only environment where he can settle in comfortably. Alexander manages irritable bowel syndrome and slowly progressing kidney changes with medication, and he continues to thrive with proper care.

He is currently in foster care, and meet-and-greet appointments can be arranged.

Alexander is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society. Local-news.ca has partnered with the Burlington Humane Society to bring you stories of some of the pets they have available for adoption. If you fall in love and want to adopt one of the pets featured, go to the Adopt a Cat or Kitten or the Adopt a Dog or Puppy page on their website for more information on how to proceed.
