BurlingtonGreen invites the community to enjoy a fun and educational evening of birding with Decoding Bird Names, an interactive webinar led by local birder and educator Bob Bell, also known as “The Birder Bob.”

The free webinar takes place Thursday, March 12, from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. on Zoom and is open to birders of all experience levels — from curious beginners to seasoned enthusiasts.

Bird names can be puzzling, confusing, or even misleading. During this engaging session, Bob Bell will demystify many familiar bird names in a relaxed and approachable way, helping participants better understand and identify the birds around them. Attendees will also have the opportunity to test their bird identification skills using photos, songs, and calls.

Book raffle
Thanks to Bob Bell’s generosity, one webinar participant will win a copy of his book, Out of the Lyme Light and Into the Sunlight: Birding as Therapy for the Chronically Ill.

Details and registration for this event are available on the BurlingtonGreen website.
