Shelby is a spirited one-year-old who may be a bit unsure at first, quietly watching from a safe distance before deciding you’re her new best friend. With a gentle approach and a little patience, her tail starts wagging, and she leans in, ready for affection and connection.
Shelby loves other dogs — sometimes a little too much. She’s the enthusiastic playmate who bursts into the fun at full speed, not always realizing everyone may need a breather. With calm redirection, she settles into more balanced play and shows just how eager she is to make friends.
Out on walks, Shelby is full of curiosity and energy, so she’ll benefit from training to help her develop good leash manners.
Shelby is young, bright, and full of heart. She just needs a patient family who will help her grow into her best self.
