We are pleased to introduce our pet of the week, Gertrude!
Gertrude is a sweet, affectionate tuxedo girl with a heart full of love. She may have started out as a shy and timid soul, but thanks to the patience and kindness of her caregivers at Burlington Humane, she’s blossomed into a confident and trusting companion.
Her favourite things? Chin and head scratches — anytime, any day! She loves rolling over for full-body pets and will happily nudge your hands for more attention. Oh, and food? she absolutely adores it (almost as much as she loves being brushed!).
Gerty is as close to perfect as can be, but she does have a skin condition that requires daily medication. The good news? She is such a good girl that she takes it easily in her food. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will reward you with endless affection, Gertrude just might be the perfect match for you!
Gertrude is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society.
