We are pleased to introduce the adoptable pet of the week for the first full week of April: it’s Kali!
Kali is a quiet and timid 2-year-old calico who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She finds comfort in simple, peaceful moments — like quietly watching birds and squirrels from the top of her cat tree.
Kali is easily overwhelmed and will need a calm, quiet home with someone patient and understanding. She’s still figuring out how to trust, and while she may be fearful now, we believe that with time, love, and gentle care, she’ll begin to feel more secure.
She’s not the kind of cat to run up for attention, but she’s hoping someone out there will see her potential and give her the chance she truly deserves. Could that someone be you?
Kali is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society. Local-news.ca has partnered with the Burlington Humane Society to bring you stories of some of the pets they have available for adoption. If you fall in love and want to adopt one of the pets featured, go to the Adopt a Cat or Kitten or the Adopt a Dog or Puppy page on their website for more information on how to proceed.
