By Lee-Ann Meyer, volunteer at Neveah Cat Rescue
Neveah Cat Rescue has rescued 60 cats from hoarding situation with small dogs and the many cats. Many are ill, including runny eyes, blindness, eye ulcers, and other conditions from the inbreeding and lack of care.
Milo was one of the cats we rescued. He is about 1.8 years old and is a beautiful black cat with a white-tipped tail. Milo was initially very shy as he had never been touched before but now that he has been in our care for a while, he has completely come around.
He now regularly demands attention with an adorable raspy voice and loves to be petted. His favorite pastime is playing with spring toys and chasing the laser pointer.
He would love to have a feline sibling in his new home as the cats from the hoarding situation are used to having feline companions.
Milo would do best in a home without young children and will require a patient adopter who will give him time to adjust to his forever home.
This sweet boy has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on his vaccines.
He’s at the PetSmart store at 2311 Appleby Line, North Burlington; adoption application forms can be found online at www.ncwl.weebly.com.
