We have featured Bonsai before on Local-news.ca’s Adoptable Pet of the Week feature (thrice!), but we’re trying again as Bonsai has been at the Burlington Humane Society (BHS) for over a year now. We’re hoping that the right dog-loving person will read this and head over to BHS to meet him!
Are you looking for a devoted four-legged friend to join your family? Look no further than Bonsai! This charming 3-year-old boxer mix is ready to steal your heart and become your lifelong companion.
Bonsai is a unique blend of energy and affection. He’s a spirited boxer mix who adores long walks and lively games of fetch to keep his lively spirit in check. His enthusiasm for outdoor adventures will make him the perfect partner for those who lead an active lifestyle.
But don’t let his active side fool you; Bonsai also has a gentle and loving side. After a day of play, he absolutely relishes cuddles and pets. He’ll eagerly curl up with you on the couch for some quality bonding time, proving that he’s as sweet as he is spirited.
Bonsai thrives in a calm and loving environment where he can be the center of attention. He prefers a home without other dogs or small children, as he enjoys being the main focus of affection. With time, patience, and understanding, Bonsai is sure to blossom into a loving and loyal companion.
Bonsai’s journey hasn’t always been easy. He spent the early part of his life tied up under a porch, which has made him a bit cautious around strangers. However, with a little patience and a lot of love, he quickly warms up to those who earn his trust. Once you’re in his inner circle, you’ll have a devoted friend for life.
If you’re interested in providing Bonsai with the loving home he deserves, please fill out a Dog Adoption Application on our website. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and ready to embark on this new chapter in his life.
Bonsai is currently receiving training in a foster-type situation to help him become the best boy he can be. Adopters will receive complimentary training upon Bonsai’s adoption to ensure his success in a new home, as well as a free training refresher after 6 months.
Bonsai is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society. Local-news.ca has partnered with the Burlington Humane Society to give you stories of some of the pets they have available for adoption. If you fall in love and want to adopt one of the pets featured, go to the Adopt a Cat or Kitten or the Adopt a Dog or Puppy page on their website for more information on how to proceed.
