Astra is back again as Local-news.ca’s Adoptable Pet of the Week, with all-new professional photos because she has been at the Burlington Humane Society (BHS) for about a year now. We’re hoping that the right tortiecat-loving person will read this and head over to BHS to meet her!
Allow us to introduce Astra. This beautiful 3-year-old girl has had quite a rough start to her young life. Astra and her sister were found on the street with their young ones.
She has previously had very few positive interactions with people. As a result, and through no fault of her own, she is quite a nervous girl around people. But we can see how curious she is and each day she gets a tiny bit braver!
Staff and volunteers have been working hard to change her opinion of humans. Potential owners will need to give her the same commitment.
Astra is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society.
