Please be aware an issue has been identified with some CIBC credit cards. Customers who have credit cards affected by this issue may see transactions with the City of Burlington appear on their credit card statement with an additional identification of “Cat Hospital of Burlington.”
CIBC is aware of the issue and has advised that cardholders should contact CIBC directly to notify them they are receiving incorrect Merchant Names (i.e. Cat Hospital of Burlington) on their credit card statements. Customers can contact CIBC by calling the number located on the back of their credit card.
