Fashion meets boxing.
The 2nd Annual No Excuse for Woman Abuse Fashion Show Fundraiser Presented by Vickie Cooper Realty Group supports the only women’s shelter in Halton, Halton Women’s Place, and takes place Thursday May 4.
This SOLD-OUT event will showcase fashions from local businesses like Joelle’s, Woven, The White Coconut, Bocana Boutique, Jeff’s Guy Shop, and Scrivener’s Menswear.
Models include hometown celebrities and musicians like Suzie McNeil and boxers from the No Excuse Boxing Club, where the event is being held.
“This is such a unique event that we are so grateful to be a part of,” said Carm Bozzo, Director, Philanthropy & Community Engagement. “This event includes so many different individuals coming together to show their support for Halton Women’s Place but most importantly for the women and children that need us the most.”
The event is led by community champions Peter Van Dyk and Julie Cole and is a big a fundraiser for the organization.
Halton Women’s Place is the ONLY women’s shelter in the Halton region providing emergency safe shelter and community outreach services to women and children experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
