- Royal Botanical Gardens: Easter Scavenger Hunt
The largest botanical garden in Canada, Burlington’s Royal Botanical Gardens, is hosting a delightful self-guided scavenger hunt! The hunt is for the Easter decor hidden around Hendrie Park. Guests can pick up the scavenger hunt list with all the necessary prompts to complete the hunt at their leisure. This is an eggs-cellent way to get outside in the spring weather that seems to be creeping up on us, while also getting in some fun: go and see what surprises await! The park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the final admission for the hunt is 4 p.m. This event is included with regular Garden admission or membership.

- Tansley Woods Community Centre: Easter Egg Excavation
If you have children aged 5 to 8 years old, this is the activity for you. Steamulation Lab is offering a fun archaeological Easter egg excavation for your kids to enjoy! Join in on this hands-on STEM activity, loaded with exploration and adventure! Admission is $20 and it will be hosted on Saturday April 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Tansley Woods Library.

- Kilbride Firefighters Association Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 8, the firefighters at Kilbride Fire Station are hosting their annual Easter egg hunt! Their doors open from 10:30 a.m., and while the Easter egg hunt itself starts at 11 a.m., there is all sorts of fun from prizes, egg decoration, and colouring to keep you busy until the main event. If you’re interested in participating, make sure you RSVP to their event on their Facebook page, so they have enough resources for everyone.
- Supreme Cheerleading: Easter Eggs-travaganza
This Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Supreme Cheerleading (1435 Norjohn Ct.) is holding an ultra-fun Easter Eggs-travaganza! They’re hosting Easter games, an Easter egg hunt, arts and crafts, Easter activities, and even a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny! If you’d like to participate, there is a $29 (plus HST) fee and registration is required .

- Glad Tidings Church: Easter Eggstravaganza
Glad Tidings Church is packing a lot of fun into this Easter on Saturday, April 8 at LaSalle Park. They not only will have a petting zoo, but also every kid’s favourite: bouncy castles! Not to mention there will be chocolate: a lot of chocolate. This free event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Parking attendants will be on hand to help direct traffic, but overflow parking is also available at Aldershot School. Bring your family and friends for a great day out this Easter weekend!
- Bronte Creek Provincial Park: Victorian Easter
If you’re a fan of history and Easter, look no further than Bronte Creek Provincial Park’s Easter event, where you can learn more about how people celebrated Easter in the Victorian era and take part in an Easter egg hunt.
On Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., head to the park’s Nature Centre and Children’s Farm for the big hunt, Victorian games, and a scavenger hunt. Take in the story trail and gnome road, and don’t forget to leave time for the playbarn! There will also be cotton candy for sale by the Friends of Bronte Creek Park, proceeds of which will go straight back to the park and its projects. These activities are included in the regular park permit fee.
- Springridge Farm: Open for 2023
That family favourite, Springridge Farm, is back in business again just in time for Easter! Though they do not have any Easter-specific activities, the Fun Farmyard is open, as is the barn market and bakery. We hear there are lots of baby animals to see: adorable kids (goats….and your human kids, too, if you bring them!) and bunnies. Bonus: it’s a great place to pick up dessert for your Easter dinner.
Admission to the Fun Farmyard, with a singing tractor and crank steam tractor new this year, is $12 per person on weekends and holidays; hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
