Let me introduce you to Nevada. She is a beautiful and quirky cat that was a stray, rescued December 2021. Nevada had been surviving the start of winter with other cats living near Costco. Nevada was seen by the vet for all her care.
She is almost 3 years old. Her personality: calm, energetic, affectionate, and independent.
Nevada is learning to accept and trust humans. She loves to play and be brushed. She also loves to be petted. We’ve also realized that she loves to rub up against feet! Nevada is a cat who thrives on admiration, but only wants to be petted on her terms. She would make a great companion to warm up your home. Given time, she’ll continue to make strides in trusting people (she’s come such a long way since she came to us).
Nevada has FIV, feline immuno-deficiency virus, which means that her immune system is not as strong as other cats. She doesn’t need any medication for this. She just needs to be kept healthy. Nevada has been quite healthy in her time with us. She needs to go to a vet every six months for bloodwork and urinalysis to be sure we are monitoring her health properly.
Nevada has been in foster for approximately eight months and loves her foster but is ready to find her forever home. Her new family will need to be patient, allowing Nevada as much time as needed to trust so that she can flourish with their support.
Are you ready?
