Oakville’s Ward 5 Town and Regional Councillor Jeff Knoll has been re-elected as chair of the Halton Regional Police Service Board.
Knoll has served on the police board since 2012 and was first elected chair in 2021 after the resignation of Rob Burton.
The police service board provides the civilian oversight of Chief Stephen Tanner and his police operations.
Knoll will serve as chair in 2023. Vice-chair is Ingrid Hann. Newly appointed to the board is Burlington Councillor Lisa Kearns.
