Oct. 25, 2022 — Press release from Cogeco Connexion
For the ninth consecutive year, Cogeco is rolling out its Trick or Treat Patrol Program to help keep children safe this Halloween. On Monday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Cogeco staff will be patrolling local neighbourhoods in their branded vehicles where children are Trick-or-Treating. Parents and children are encouraged to reach out to them if, at any point, they may need any assistance.
“At Cogeco, we don’t just provide connectivity services; we invest in, engage with, and support our communities. We’re proud to assist our local police services by having our team provide additional eyes on the streets and help protect our children. We want to make Halloween a fun and safe evening for the children, as well as parents, guardians, and caregivers,” said Matt Wickham, Vice President and General Manager, Customer Experience and B2B.
The program takes place annually in up to 12 communities across Ontario with 50 Cogeco technicians. Since 2014, Cogeco staff have totalled over 1,200 hours of patrolling to keep our communities safe on Halloween night.
Look out for the Cogeco team in your neighbourhood this Halloween.
