The Workforce Symposium is the first-ever symposium, part of a symposium series introduced by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce to address different critical issues that impact the Burlington business community. Held at the Burlington Golf & Country Club from 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2022, this event will provide critical resources for businesses.
The Workforce Symposium, presented by Alinea Group Holdings and Burlington Hydro, will address the ongoing labour crisis and its impact on businesses while providing solutions to employers to adapt and overcome today’s current workforce challenges.
This event features keynotes from a federal and provincial minister, with panelists including business owners and industry experts. Our first panel provides an overview of the labour shortage from different industry perspectives, followed by our second panel that will provide actionable resources to address this.
