Meet Azalea!
Azalea is estimated to be about a year and a half old, and she was found in an abandoned house with four other cats at the beginning of April. It turns out she was pregnant at the time, and on April 16 she had five kittens!
Azalea was a good mom, despite struggling with an upper respiratory infection while her kittens were young. She was finally spayed at the end of June, once she was healthy and her kittens were weaned, which means she’s more than ready to find her forever home!
Azalea is as gorgeous as her namesake, and is super sweet. She can be shy, but she loves being petted and will purr up a storm if you give her the chance. We are very sure she’ll gain confidence and be a purrfect pet when she finds her people!
Azalea is available for adoption through the Burlington Humane Society. If you fall in love and want to adopt one of the pets featured, go to the Adopt a Cat or Kitten or the Adopt a Dog or Puppy page on their website for more information on how to proceed.
