From the Burlington Performing Arts Centre

Looking for something fun and inspiring to do together as a family between Christmas and New Year’s Eve? Give your family the gift of a shared LIVE experience at The Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC).

Hailing from Las Vegas, the renowned DLUX Puppets is a theatre company for families and children of all ages using high quality puppetry to perform fun and educational musical adaptions of classic literature.

Using state of the art digitally projected scenery (Live Virtual Set™ by Steve Axtell), high-quality life-sized puppetry, live actors, and twists on popular songs from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, DLUX Puppets is sure to delight.

BPAC is thrilled to host DLUX Puppets in beautiful downtown Burlington to perform their fantastic productions of both Alice In Wonderland (December 27 – 28: FOUR SHOWS) and Peter Pan (December 29 – 30: FOUR SHOWS).

In these visually engaging productions, all of your favourite classic characters are intricately engineered life size puppets, hand built, performed and voiced by DLUX Puppets’ founder Derek Lux. The leading roles of Alice and Wendy are played by his wife, Lauren Lux, Education Director and active elementary school teacher who helped develop the performance to be aligned with educational standards, support social-emotional development, and teach children how they can empower themselves in life.

Whether you are in senior kindergarten or you are a senior, these creative and hilarious musical adaptations provide an experience that the whole family will enjoy. Even if it’s just to hear Captain Hook sing his renditions of songs by Bon Jovi, The Beatles, Abba, Frankie Valli and more!

Make a live performance together a new holiday tradition. Tickets and gift certificates always make great gifts.

All eight performances are generously sponsored by Kelly Gleeson and The Gleeson Investment Group of CIBC Wood Gundy Private Wealth Management.
